Let's not_make art 2
Voice is this alien creature that lives inside our stomacs and comes out sometimes unexpectingly. If we listen to a recording of our own voice, this alienation becomes even more obvious.
Here in Amman, voice is very present, it embracess the city 5x / day. But it comes from the authority - someone else, above, it is not our own.
Video was composed of photographs of light captured around Jordan. It appeared only when the voice was present in the room and disappeared when silant. One was only able to watch it while
singing.
We made an evening dedicated to our own voices, that live inside us, whatever our (unconfortable) relationships with them are and were perheps reminded of the light inside every and each one of us, whatever form it may take outside.
Enas Alsaid beautifully triggered the video with the Ihab's background luth sound. Afterwords we could witness some very interesting voices.
